Garden of Darkness

I fell into a deep umbra of a sea.
I sink to its bottom,
My skirt swaying in the flow,
Perhaps medusal.
Crimson flowers gently sway
Moneywort carpets the ground
Like a city of twinned pennies
The weeping willows serendipitously
Shade the dark
Yellow jonquils at the edges of the lakes
Gaze and grow numb.
I saw now
The darkness is what we are for
A maternal shroud to comfort.
1-2-3-4
And the light blinds me and takes me
From my hadal Elysium
